Stop Missing the Human Layer of the Law. Because Every Case Begins—and Ends—with People

Most Attorneys are trained to analyze facts, testimony, and legal arguments. Few are trained to decode the nonverbal cues, behavioral patterns, and digital tells that influence how witnesses, clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel perceive information.

Whether you are conducting a deposition on Zoom, navigating a high-stakes mediation, or presenting in a virtual courtroom, what you don’t see costs you leverage, misread signals, and lost opportunities to steer the outcome.

Bodies Don't Lie is a perception and intelligence system designed to help Attorneys strengthen their observational skills, improve trial presence, and develop a deeper understanding of human behavior in legal settings.

The Bodies Don't Lie Framework

Behavioral Intelligence & Strategy

Learn how to recognize hidden behavioral patterns, processing styles, and communication dynamics that provide valuable insight during depositions, negotiations, and client evaluations.

Color & Perception

Explore how strategic color choices influence emotional response, credibility, attention, and authority in both live professional environments and virtual squares.

Observational Intelligence

Train yourself to notice the subtle facial mapping indicators, micro-expressions, and physical tells that are completely overlooked by other legal professionals.

YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER COURSE. YOU NEED A SMARTER WAY TO LEARN.

You already have a practice to run, clients to serve, deadlines to meet, and cases to prepare. That's why the Bodies Don't Lie Attorney Presence & Behavioral Intelligence System is designed to fit into your schedule, not compete with it.

Learn one strategic insight — 15 minutes a week.

Each week, you'll receive a short BDL Behavioral Brief focused on one practical concept you can use immediately:

A non-verbal signal and exactly what to watch for.
A facial feature and the behavioral tendencies it reveals.
A specific color and how it influences perception.
A courtroom or client scenario showing how to apply the framework.

No long assignments. No hours of coursework. Just one highly useful insight at a time.  Then, once a month, drop into a live, members-only Trial Lab to pressure-test those insights in real-time negotiation and litigation scenarios.

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE

This system helps you recognize what’s happening underneath the surface and respond in real time.

In a Virtual Hearing: An opposing party may verbally agree to a timeline while micro-expressing hesitation, giving you the real-time signal to press further before the record is set.
In a Deposition: A witness may maintain a consistent vocal tone but reveal physical or facial stress around key exhibits showing you exactly where the vulnerabilities lie.
In Mediation:  Parties may express structural agreement while signaling silent resistance on the screen, allowing you to recalibrate your negotiation strategy before the deal breaks down.

    Frequently Asked Questions

I already have a busy practice. How much time does this require?

That's exactly why Bodies Don't Lie is designed differently from a traditional course.  You don't have to sit down and complete hours of training at once.  Members receive a short weekly Behavioral Brief designed to take 15 minutes to read and absorb. Each brief focuses on one practical concept from the system—such as a non-verbal signal, facial feature, color principle, or real-world application.

When you have more time, you can explore the full training modules, videos, handouts, and resources in the member library.  And once a month, you'll have the opportunity to practice what you've learned in a live members-only Trial Lab.  You can learn at your own pace without putting another major time commitment on your calendar.

Do I have to complete the entire training before attending a Trial Lab?

No.  The Trial Labs are designed to help you practice and reinforce what you're learning, not to test whether you've completed every module. You can participate based on your current level of knowledge and build your skills over time.  The goal isn't to memorize a system.

The goal is to become more observant, recognize patterns, and know what to look for.

    Is this program CLE accredited?

No. Bodies Don't Lie is not designed for routine CLE credit compliance. It is a specialized behavioral intelligence and observational strategy system designed specifically for attorneys who want actionable skills to win negotiations, read witnesses, and maximize trial leverage.

Most of my cases settle and I rarely go to trial. Is this still relevant to my practice?

Absolutely. In fact, that is exactly why this framework is critical. Because 95% of cases resolve before ever reaching a jury, your actual "trial" happens during depositions, mediations, and high-stakes client meetings. Bodies Don't Lie isn't about waiting for a courtroom; it's about gaining the behavioral leverage you need to secure the best possible settlement long before a trial is ever necessary. If your work involves evaluating credibility, reading the room, or negotiating financial outcomes, this system gives you the real-time insights to shift the leverage in your favor.

My practice has moved almost entirely to Zoom. Can you implement this virtually?

Virtual settings don't eliminate nonverbal cues—they actually magnify them. In an in-person deposition or mediation, you might be sitting fifteen feet away from someone. On Zoom, their face is eighteen inches from your screen. The Bodies Don't Lie framework teaches you exactly how to spot "Digital Tells"—including micro-expressions, facial mapping, vocal shifts, and subtle signs of cognitive stress or duress that are hidden in plain sight. When you lose the lower half of the body on a screen, knowing how to accurately read facial indicators and processing styles becomes your unfair advantage.

When should I start using this?

This isn’t something most attorneys want to learn the week before trial. It’s a skill set that becomes more valuable the earlier you begin developing it. The framework is designed to be applied as you work during depositions, client conversations, and case preparation—so that by the time you’re in voir dire or mediation, you’re not thinking about it, you’re using it.

Like any skill, the advantage comes from repetition and refinement, not last-minute preparation.
